Backstory
This is the cover of a mini comix published by by Artie Romero's Everyman Studios in Feb. 1980. It's listed in Jay Kennedy's Official Underground and Newave Comix Price Guide (item #218) with a print run of 600 copies.
It was unusual to see color in any small press comics during this period. But Everyman did their own printing, so most of their titles featured color covers with black & white interior pages. I remember being thrilled to have one of my books published by them. Both the cover and the back cover (the last page of the story) were printed in color.
