Backstory
When Artie Romero agreed to give me a spot for a full issue of his mini comic series, I had a lot of other projects in the works. I was worried about getting everything finished on time so I asked Lori-Ann Reif to help me with the project. Thankfully, she agreed to lay out the pages based on the rough script I had written. Below is the rough layout she drew for this week's page.
She created roughs like this one for the whole story. Sometimes I changed a panel a little or flopped an image, but in most cases I followed her layouts pretty closely in the final artwork. It was a big help. In fact, it was the only way I was able to get the pages to Artie on time.
