Backstory
One of my first jobs out of college was a short stint at a typesetting shop. The owner was an older guy who was general manager, account rep, and salesman for the operation. He drove a gigantic Cadillac and liked to bar hop in the evenings. Some nights when he was out drinking he would call me up out of the blue and brainstorm about ideas to expand his business and how I could help him. No doubt this experience inspired Nora's evening call from Irv in the first strip.
Note: This is an incomplete series. Although the overall storyline wasn't concluded, each week provides a stand alone comic strip.
